From the very beginning, Kusum Yadav showed a strong inclination toward understanding society, people, and truth. She pursued formal education in journalism, where she developed a sharp sense of observation, responsibility, and ethical reporting. Journalism, for her, was never just about news—it was about giving a voice to those who are unheard, ignored, or powerless.
International Recognition
Alongside journalism, Kusum Yadav also explored the world of modeling, an industry that demands confidence, professionalism, and adaptability. Through dedication and hard work, she established herself as a respected name in the modeling field. She had the opportunity to work with renowned Bollywood celebrities and major media platforms, gaining valuable exposure and experience. Her work in modeling also took her to Dubai, where she earned recognition on international platforms and strengthened her understanding of global media standards.
Deepening Sensitivity
Despite achieving success and recognition in modeling and media, Kusum Yadav never lost sight of social realities. Her exposure to different societies, cultures, and economic conditions further deepened her sensitivity toward social inequality. This combination of journalism, media presence, and life experience became the foundation of her larger purpose.

With a clear vision and strong intent, she established the Journalist & Social Welfare Association (JASWA) to bridge the gap between media and social responsibility. Under her leadership, the organization works to highlight genuine social issues, raise public awareness, and support vulnerable sections of society. She strongly believes that media is not just a platform for information, but a powerful tool for justice, accountability, and change.
